The Color Red

For The Color Red, I began developing the second installment of my documentary series exploring the colors of the rainbow. This chapter dives into the emotional weight, cultural symbolism, and natural presence of the color red — from urgency and passion to power, warning, and ritual. The film blends real-world imagery with thoughtful narration to reveal how a single color can shape how we feel, react, and remember.

As creative director and editor, I focused on building a visual language that feels bold, intimate, and cinematic. Every shot is selected to highlight red’s intensity — in nature, in objects, and in the subconscious. Though the series is still in progress, Red lays the foundation for a larger body of work that turns color theory into storytelling, transforming simple hues into immersive visual experiences.
